Security doors have been installed

Presentation Day

We finally had our presentation day yesterday (23/7/2015) and we also had Chris from Darbecca doing the independent inspection. We felt really lucky to have used Darbecca as our independent inspector, otherwise there will be quite a few things that we wouldn't pick up ourselves. 

Overall there is no major things that need fixing, and we are really looking forward to the settlement date. 

Five more days to presentation day

Our SS called on Friday telling us that the presentation day needs to be pushed back until 23rd of July 2015 due to the weather. What can I say, weather has not been on our side for the whole week.

We went to check the progress this morning and could see that the kitchen splashback, rangehood and LED lights have been installed, 

Our flydoors for the living room, bedroom 3 and bedroom 4 will need to be replaced with the security doors as that is what we chose in the contract. 

We went to the property again the following day to meet up with the guy who will put up our fences and lay the concrete driveway. We notice the flashing has been done.

Almost there...

Our SS called on Friday (3/7/2015) to book a time for the presentation day which will be happening on the 21st of this month. Yay!! can't wait for the day. We also book a time for our independent inspector to come on the 20th to check the final stage.

We could see from the outside that they have cleaned the tiles and windows. They have also installed the water taps and shower head in the ensuite. They still yet to install shower head in the common bathroom. Carpet has not been laid, I guess this will be done closer to the presentation day to keep them clean.

Went to see our house again the following week and carpet has been fully laid, garage door has been installed, and render has been done.
